Match Previews

Force vs Balls n Strikes

This matchup includes 2 teams going in complete opposite direction.

Balls n Strikes are steadily climbing the standings week by week as well as improving in play. Wahid has been bowling amazing, as he is one of the rookie of the year candidates with his 168.9 avg .He also has broken the top 10 in high avg. Hakim N. has been very steady with his 158.7 avg, but is improving as the season goes along. Having Shumail and his 174.0 avg and winning 3 out of 4 matchup points shows great depth along with role players such as Ali N. Abdull Sattar and Ali Sher and their great handicap leverage in game play. It will be a very difficult for teams to match up week in and week out.  This is not your average expansion team as they have been a huge impact in a short time.

This is where it could all turn for Force with only 3 pts separating them from Balls n Strikes. There are only 4.5 pts from the 6th spot. Prince must apply some sort of urgency to his players to show up. There is one thing that is confusing all bowlers around the world.  Force’s record and their roster don’t add up. Prince has been impeccable in his play with his 182.4 avg and ranked 4th in the league plus as an anchor winning 7 out of 12 pts match up points. Having Riz and his 157.2 avg is a great compliment to team Force but that’s where it ends.

Force has a bowler with the best hook in the league “MOE” but is MIA and a steady bowler Matt. Both have shown up in half the games this year , which is the reason for Force’s poor record . If Prince gets his steady amount of players to come to play every week their record should improve.

We will see if Prince can rally his troops and get them to show up on time. If Prince can do this Force has a good chance beating Balls n Strikes.

We are predicting though a clean sweep for Balls n Strikes as Prince’s players are seen on the back of milk cartons’. Prince it’s 10"O clock do you know where your players are?

Snipers vs Force Recap

Game 1: Snipers win 857-791
Game 2: Force wins 817-795
Game 3: Snipers win 934-864
Snipers win 16 of 23 points

Everyone knew the Snipers were a team to fear, once Gage got it going and Uday started to get used to things.  Bad news for Force as it had to happen against them.  Gage bowled up to his potential and Uday had a career day for the Snipers as they took 2 out of 3 from Force.

In Game 1, Pat bowled his season high of 128, Gage put in 177, and Uday added in 120 to all score points for the Snipers.  Prince bowled a 201 to get a point for Force, while Riz had a 172 as he continues to get better each week.  But with Matt and Moe missing, Force was once again falling just a little short.

In game 2, Linsanity returned to the league as James bowled a 126 to score a point for Force.  Prince put in his season high of 223 to also score for Force.  Riz and Stan did just enough to get Force a close win.  Gage led the Snipers with a 171, while Uday had a 137 for the Snipers, both of whom scored points.

In game 3, Gage was simply on fire with 6 strikes in a row, finishing with his season high of 244; showing his summer form and just how good he can be.  Uday had a turkey and finished with his season high of 153.  Guerrier avoided being shutout with a great game of 197.  Snipers showed their potential bowling a 934.  Force bowled well; Riz had a 188, Prince had a 182, and Stan had a 162, and James had a 135 (James scored a point for Force). Force had a more than respectable 864, but the Snipers were that much better, taking 6 points, and the series in the last game.

Post Game Recap- Asian Sensation Vs Pin Pals

Game 1- Pin Pals 868 Asian Sensations 780 Pin Pals take game 6-1
Game 2- Pin Pals 793 Asian Sensations 795 Asian Sensations take Game 5-2
Game 3- Pin Pals 829 Asian Sensations 783 Pin Pals take Game 3-4

This match up was hyped up for weeks. Mainly because of the no loss of love between Ayaz and Yash. They have had a long history of smack talking which has stemmed from season 1 over flowing in to the sumnmer league. Unfortunately Yash The Shark has been denied recognition again, because of the poor performance of the Asian Sensations. On the other hand, The Pin Pals took crucial pins by some extraordinary performances by there lead off men when it counted.

In the first game, as predicted before, the game would really be decided upon the lead off men on both sides. The Pin Pals simply spanked the Sensations in that
respect. Sid F. and David DeBlasio bowled amazing with a strong 164 and 163 while Amin and Jin ended up with a 125 and 172. But Asif increased the gap by bowling a 212, against Yash The Shark's pathetic 143. Khaled Ahmedy started off strong with a 191 against Ayaz Dar's measly 156, but the damage was already done. Pin Pals would take the game 6-1.

In the second game, the two teams were neck and neck to the tenth frame anchor position. Despite Ayaz Dar coming back to life with a 207 and Asif having a respectful score of 194.The Pin pals simply fell apart with no help with there lead off man Sid, with a horrible score of 83. The Sensations sprung back with some energy with Jin, Yash, and Ahmad scoring respectfully with a 164, 172, and 184.

The last game, the Pin Pals whole game rested upon the second most clutch player of the league, Daddy Dar! With the first three players scoring under 160, Ayaz made up for it scoring a high series game of 243. Making up for his teams lack luster showing. Amin S. came out of hibernation with a 142, and Jin and Yash scored a 170 and 177 respectfully. The loss of the game was mainly on the head of the Sensation anchor scoring a 145. Not even competing with Ayaz Dars extraordinary perfomance.

Both teams can be great teams, but with only the support of their lead off men. These two teams will be going head to head in the position round. It will be interesting to see if the Sensations will learn from their mistakes. Or see the Pin Pals make crucial moves again when it counts. Either way it will make way for a exciting match up!

Game 1 was a nail biter going down to the last few balls but BnS's 220 handicap was too much for StrikeKings to overcome. Post Game Recap- Strikes and Spares vs Pin Smackers

Game 1- Strikes and Spares 858 Pin Smackers 758  Strikes and Spares takes game 6-1
Game 2- Strikes and Spares 808 Pin Smackers 795  Strikes and Spares takes Game 7-0
Game 3- Strikes and Spares 864 Pin Smackers 759  Strikes and Spares takes Game 6-1

Game 1: Score: SnS 6 points (team and 3 individual points) vs Pin Smackers 1 (individual point)
The question of the matchup was who will climb up to take the 1st place. Strikes n Spares was playing Pin Smackers, where either team could take first place. There was only a difference of 1.5 points in the standings. Amaad & Jason  were consistent to take the victory on Pin Smackers' subpar performances by 3 players lacking support for Abhi. Eugene bowling a 152, and Sony's 144 just wasn't enough to get the job done.  Jason led game 1 bowling a 219, showing that SnS is the team to beat and can finish you off in the match.

Game 2: Score: SnS 7 points (team and 4 individual points) to Pin Smackers (0 point)
As Game 2 sets on, Naeem came in for Strikes and Spares  to replace Amaad. The game was back and forth having the teams staying within 30 pins throughout the game until the 10th frame. Pin Smackers were leading by 30 pins going into the last 2 frames, hoping to get a victory after Game 1.  All the hopes for Pin Smackers to get a win with 30 pins lead has vanished. In the 10th grame Jason being the anchor only needed a strike to win the matchup. As usual Jason got it done, as he bowled a Strike which enabled Strikes to Spares to take all 7 points.  The first 3 bowlers for Pin Smackers failed to bowl a strike or spare in the 10th frame which helped  Strikes and Spares in getting the sweep.

Game 3: Score: SnS (team and 3 ndividual points) to Pin Smackers 1 (individual point)
After losing 2  games by SnS's stealth performances, what is left for Pin Smackers? Bringing back Ammad & Mufty in Game 3, Strikes and Spares were ready to close the game out with another potential sweep. These 3 matches were not an easy road for the Pin Smackers as the support wasn't strong enough, due to the first 3 bowlers bowling way below their averages. SnS led with strikes and spares continuously in 1st 4 frames, including Raza's turkey in the 1st 3 frames which then closed out with a 201 and Jason's 200. SNS won this game by over 100 pins as this game was never in reach for the Pin Smackers. SnS came with a victory of the match and 3 points. Pin Smackers fought very hard to avoid a 7 point lost as Abhi beat Jason by 2 pins to take the only one in Game 3 for the Pin Smackers.

Depsite Jason's number one leading average, the support has been incredible by Mufthy, Raza, Amaad, and Naeem's steller performances. SNS will be a tough team to beat with tehir stack roster, and their capability of any every bowler bowling over a 200. Having Jason showing up proves what SNS can do, and has shown no mercy for getting victories. SNS will be favored to beat Pin Smackers next week as they face eachother in the position round. The Pin Smackers need a lot of support to make up for todays losses if they want to stay in top 2 in the league.
